These white 50’ rib side box cars with red FMC plug door and no roofwalk displays the large “SOO LINE” herald, “Colormark” logo, white stenciling and runs on black roller bearing trucks. These cars are equipped with steel one-piece bulkheads and 15 inch type HD-E Freightmaster Cushioning Device. Soo Line’s “equipped” cars were painted in white with red doors and many are stenciled with the “Colormark” designation. The distinction is based upon differentials in tariffs for the cars due to special loads and special accessories such as load dividers, cushion underframe, etc.
