Product Information
This light grey Evans 100 ton 3-bay covered hopper has elongated hatches, large red FMC logo with black lettering and runs on black Barber® roller bearing trucks. Evans 3-bay covered hoppers, 4780 c.f., were built 1977 to 1981 by Evans Products Company at the Ashland City, Blue Island and Washington Plants. Evans hoppers from series 20110-20211 arrived in April 1978 painted for FMC in light grey with the large red FMC letters. FMC leased the hoppers from the Evans Railcar Leasing Co. who acquired the Reporting Marks USLX from United States Railway Leasing Co. in October 1980.
